Just learned about yandex practicum
They give courses for programming, design etc
Sounded gay but ok, and then I saw the pricing
Frontend developer: 144k₽ upfront. That's 2 years in my mid college
Full-stack developer: 225k₽ upfront. You can pay a full year at a top-tier university like MSU with that money.
And in both cases you're getting more than zoom calls, can receive scholarship bonuses or even get the education for free.
They don't even advertize any job warrant or other benefit, so what's the point?

After I've seen an MIPT graduate who couldn't make a simple loop in Python, and MIPT towers above MSU when it comes to technical education, you won't convince me that education is worth anything in this country, @newt claims that it's like that everywhere.

But yeah, the situation is quite dire.
