#Android teaches that you should read comments before upgrading applications.

Looks like #meteo.pl took over yet another unofficial weather app, and replaced it with thin wrapper that forces you to install the "official" app instead. I suppose I don't have to say that the official app is total crap.

The old version still works. How long is it going to keep working? I suppose it's time to find another weather provider.

I have disabled updates for I think like 90% of applications on my Android phone โ€” and I don't have much to begin with ๐Ÿ˜‚
Android is like a minefield in this regard โ€”ย every time you need something you don't use every day, you open it only to realize that it got updated and something works differently โ€” or sometimes not at all, or looks way differently. And they have made sure that you can't roll back easily and downgrading would involve configuring it again from the blank slate ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

For weather I use OSS Weather from F-droid โ€” I think it supports different weather providers, but I'm not it would work for use as accuracy of forecasts for different locations might vary provider to provider.
Otherwise it's pretty good โ€” it have very minimal GUI, but can still show rather detailed information.
Again, I'm not using the latest version and maybe it went bad already. I stopped updating it when the developer changed the icon to the one that didn't work with my theme ๐Ÿ˜‚
