Of course I will admit if I am wrong always. Especially if I am certain. If I have doubts about my arguments I tend to stick to them but may be convinced by counter arguments. That's how it's like to be a intelligent person and not brought up on microwave dinners without any vitamins
I also will keep my mouth shut if I feel radically opposite a friend on here. Just to maintain friendship

It takes not only being intelligent, but also being mentally sound and respectful for yourself and others — qualities that come together not as often as I'd like them to, some, instead of admitting they are wrong, just start attacking you personally, bringing their support crew in and keep denying even when it's obvious to everyone already that they are wrong.
Not only admitting error, but revising it yourself is what helps building up trust like nothing else, respect!
