Literally nobody actually needs systemd. Well except maybe Lennart and his overlords. If your project relies on it, I am sorry, your project is shit. Yes that makes default Debian shit as well, I am aware of that. It's still better shit than Windoze though. In the end, it's all a question of how much shit is too much shit. But isn't it always?

"I don't need it" / "I have never asked for it" — that's a pretty solid argument to me. It doesn't not necessarily have to translate into the question: "How can we improve it?",— because I don't want to improve it, I just want to not have it. Can I please?
