Reminds me of a Gen Z person I'm tutoring. She doesn't really treat computers as computers. She juggles them. "How about I do this with the iPad?" She doesn't give two shits about what they're running. You need another mindset to work with them.

@thor I can't conceive how "printing" 50 sheets would be easier than manually counting it. I can only imagine the printer stopping every other dozen of sheets because one got clogged.

I think she didn't have to count them in the first place, she could've just brought "about 50" sheets — if there were 60 of them, no one would mind, printing might go wrong and it's always wise to have some spare paper.
I think thist has more to do with feeling awkward around people when it's your first job, than belonging to a particular generation.
