Calling certbot from a corn job has never failed me, it failed to run once in a year and only because I was stupid and the system was overtaxed. I only got an email warning that time, the next week it ran fine and the only cert that had been expiring was renewed 🤷

@m0xee @Tony They won't let you run it hourly even though thats the only way to make sure stuff does not go bad (i had to make a new account and make new certs since it full throttled me)

Daily if you want to be really 120% sure, for me even weekly is enough. You still get email notifications and can check on it if something seems wrong 🤷
