Dear #Fedi.
I’m running a personal Mastodon instance and it's frankly an overkill. Could you please suggest alternative software that might be better for single-user instances? I don't need much. I use a client so I don’t need an elaborate web UI. Cool if it's Ruby, Rust, PHP, or JS so I could hack it if I want to but that's not a requirement.

Pleroma — works fine on my olde PowerPC G4 MacMini with only a gigabyte of RAM.
GoToSocial as others noted, I don't have experience with it, but I heard good things. You need hardware that is supported as Go target, PowerPC doesn't cut it.
