Looks cool! And there is a 3DS port, I wonder if it'll work on my DSi though. Good if it would, this thing has been collecting dust for years, would be great if I could use it for something again! 🤩

@m0xee @theorytoe @TarnishedYarmulke @wgiwf @bleedingphoenix yeah the 3DS version was reportedly horrible. Cave Story + is good and is nearly identical to the original version. The only difference is the HD graphics. Also CS+ has wind fortress and boss rush.

Neither original ROM from archive.org, nor this port
github.com/tilderain/CaveStory
seem to work on my DSi — they both load, but then there's white screen and it halts😩
Maybe firmware in it is too old, but I don't want to update it as I'm not sure my cart will still work — some were banned in updated.
Have to investigate, I hope I'll be able to find ROM that works.
