@kirby Kernel 6.5 will use ActivityPub for IPC — all written in Rust of course! Probably most of it would be rewritten in Rust at that point — even old Intel graphics drivers. Kernel config will use TOML syntax instead of INI-like.
Build system will be replaced by one based on Node.js — okay, I'm, probably going too far with that 🤭
