the marketing copy is written in the plural "you" because they expect me to be a couple or a family. the prices are per person, but the assumption is 2 or more people.

also, they also talk about this imaginary car that i don't own.

never has a travel site made me feel more alienated.

together with hotel rooms typically having double beds, it kind of leaves you with the impression that nobody thinks single people should travel. airlines, railways and bus lines are okay, but once you get to the destination, everything's twice as expensive if you're single.

@thor I think person traveling alone usually handles these things him or herself: the tickets, the hotel, the transfer. When you have a family it becomes too much of a hassle and this is where travel agencies step in. It's not that they hate you, it's just unusual for them 🤷
