@tin Same is true for Windows if yours is a corner case. I've had to literally remove all HDs but one from my Mac Pro to install Windows 8 — because you you can only install it to the first one. So, you have a hybrid MBR/GUID partition table and some partitions located beyond 2Gb in GUID part don't exist in MBR one (because it's impossible)? You know what — fuck you, you will never be able to use those. Win can be a chore, likewise installing Linux on well-supported HW is plain and simple.
