a commonly pondered philosophical debate which has never been truly completed

@jeff I'm fine with NJ, still better than a certain nuclear superpower ๐Ÿ˜‚

@m0xee well yea but the fr*nch are not even in play here, it's like why the FUCK would anyone ever say "better than being the literal worst thing in the entire gd world"

@jeff Close, but not quite ๐Ÿ˜
I guess I'm not even in the league, no NJ for me today.

@m0xee america is not a nuclear power, we just pretend we are. half our nukes dont even launch anymore bro

@jeff Same for Russia. Everyone still gives in to the nuke scares, but I doubt there are any in working order. Cool looking launchers shown at parades carry dummies of course, but the rest is probably just as good โ€” decomposing into rust in the flooded silos. Maintaining this shit costs bazillions, I'd be very much surprised if not every dime gets stolen, no one even sees this stuff. Tactical ones might be in order, but that's nothing to brag about, I bet China has more of those anyway.

@m0xee fr*nce is the real nuclear power dude, there is a reason they have so many powerplants

@jeff Yeah, most probably true. And they never went with Germany's odd ideas of phasing them out, which made zero sense from carbon footprint perspective, but made a lot from the infamous relying on cheap gas one ๐Ÿคญ

@m0xee they "dont have nukes" because that means they are in the equation. they most certainly have the most functional nukes of any nation on the face of the earth.
