@MirceaKitsune GDPR was good too. Chat law was bad though, not sure if that was passed. Unifying the chargers was also a EU thing AFAIR. I don't think that it's a miracle, EU looks like the only entity doing good things for us.

@m0xee @tuxedocomputers That insanity hasn't been brought up recently, just hoping it dies already it's shameful they even discussed such an idea it's on par with Iran. GDPR yes; Just not whatever law caused all those banners about cookies which I'm now having to ad-block.

I forever remember the Copyright Directive: How aggressively they fought to impose censorship of user content for the sake of big corporations, trying to paint it as being about holding big tech platforms accountable.
