@ThatCrazyDude
TBH mounting gun turret from a ship on that platform outdone even the previous top specimen of Russian bleeding-edge tech βΒ artillery barrel mounted on some tractor π€£
I wonder if this breakthrough vehicle is able to move uphill without rolling back downhill right afterwards.
@DotardTed
Even more important, does it float?
What's the point of having a navy guy if it doesn't float?
@DotardTed @m0xee well, to be fair, a gun is a gun, so if you need to make them mobile and you have nothing better.... Still. It does speak volumes about the actual situation in Russian military, doesn't it
@DotardTed @m0xee how do they call it, btw? Bradleysky, by any chance? π

To be fair did they run out of the sweet guns they have on the BTR 4E? At night they look like laser cannons!
@DotardTed @m0xee those are ray guns, man! They just ran out of batteries
@DotardTed
On top of that, looks like they are running out of all sorts of ammo. Using AA missiles to attack cities? And they were using anti-ship missiles long before that, since late summer early fall I think. Now they are out of artillery and gun ammo, what's next?
I don't get the ones who say that Russia can sustain this war forever. Even with infinite manpower it's impossible to recover from the losses in armored vehicles π€·
@ThatCrazyDude
@m0xee @DotardTed @ThatCrazyDude
I think it was Iran supplying them with artillery ammo at some point of time.
Watch closely shipments from Chyna too, please.
@PawelK @m0xee @DotardTed I've heard something about north Korea too. But i guess we'll never know for sure
@ThatCrazyDude
@PawelK
Yes, I've read rumours about NK too, we will never have trustworthy confirmation. Maybe analyzing the debris can shed some light on what tech was used for manufacturing, but both π°π΅ and π·πΊ might use Soviet-era equipment.
I don't believe π¨π³ will step in, they will suck Russia dry by bying commodities at huge discount and by increasing market presence which is already considerable. But they will only provide "diplomatic" support by calling for peace negotiations.

The neosoviet creation from the top picture above just got given (a more or less) official name.

You may not trust CNBC, but I think it's pretty close to truth, Chinese intent to supply military equipment was made up by Russian officials.
China has even stopped shipping consumer-grade drones to Russia recently β military-grade ones are out of the question.
China's interested in weak Russia, they are all talk and no real help and I'm sure they'll stay this way.
@DotardTed @ThatCrazyDude
@m0xee @DotardTed @ThatCrazyDude
That is fairly possible, china has more to lose than say noko or Iran.
Additionally china got pissed off at russia by russia bringing china as their supplier or prospect supplier up publically without chinas involvement and/or consultation,. Or at least china says so.
China seems most interested in talking advantage of Russia's cheap oil more than helping arm them for a war.
Russia's weaknesses to China's advantage.
@DotardTed @m0xee @PawelK @ThatCrazyDude I saw something today that China has started selling drones to Ukraine and stopped selling them to Russia. Chinaβs only long-term interest is China.
@GaryBussy @DotardTed @PawelK @ThatCrazyDude @m0xee βReliable sourcesβ on the Ukraine part, Iβm afraid. It might be nothing, but the Russia part seems better documented.
@GaryBussy @DotardTed @ThatCrazyDude @m0xee @Flick
I love those stories od mighty LEGO(TM) briggs.
Could you honestly remind me - an old fool, which one did 'i' in those cheap plactic jigsaw puzzles stood for? Honest question, please forgive my menory.
@GaryBussy @DotardTed @ThatCrazyDude @m0xee @Flick
Thank ya. I somehow often confused it, in this context, with Indonesia due to some unknown subconcious reason.

DJI replies to all complaints: we are sorry, but we do not provide our services to Russians + we do not provide services for any military activities, so thank you for your understanding...
@DotardTed @GaryBussy @ThatCrazyDude @m0xee @Flick
This tweet seems legit. Them DJI, just grew 10x in my eyes. Wow.
@DotardTed
That's exactly what read in Russian from sources that are usually trustworty. It's not like DJI started doing business with Ukraine instead of Russia, they were doing both, but recently stopped shipping to Russia and no longer provide support to customers in Russia.
Of course everybody lies, Ukrainian sources too, but I trust Russian officials even less.

@PawelK
So it's a siege tower now? Well, the siege of Bakhmut β makes sense π
@DotardTed @GaryBussy @ThatCrazyDude @Flick
@m0xee @PawelK @DotardTed @GaryBussy @Flick they should have a trebuchet on a trailer to complete the set.
@ThatCrazyDude @DotardTed @m0xee
Results of robustness/pressure tests of new il-76 built under sanctions.
@ThatCrazyDude
Oh, come on, real seamen don't need no washing machines!
BTW there were news a week or two ago that they are reallocating armed forces of some fleet from under Bakhmut somewhere else. We wondered what the fsck they were talking about. Now it all makes sense π
Not sure if its APC or IFV myself β not an expert, but it does have a fore autocannon, should be IFV π€·
@m0xee @DotardTed what i want to know is how many washing machines gave their lives to rig that turret on top of an APC. Or... IFV is it.... Whatever π
