I am wondering.. is the gene that contains autism/ ADHD a dominant gene? Cause it runs in families and usually multiple kids are affected. So if it is the dominant gene, would this mean that we will take over one day? #ActuallyAutistic #ADHD

@Uniflame It's not about gene itself only, whether it is considered an evolutionary advantage or disadvantage is also a factor. I think society isn't up to most autistic people having several kid yet, but when society adapts so it's no longer considered a disadvantage then yes, it might happen.
I believe ADHD might be considered an advantage at some poing and I think it was at certain point in the past.
