Same as always — it's hard to admit not being right about something because it's a brick in their worldview and without it they'd have to think about a lot of things under a different light, no one usually wants that. Most people lack political thinking, but at the same time they are easy to sell some ideology for exact same reasons. Even if that includes opinions on stuff they don't care about — they don't have to make personal opinion on that 🤷
@mjdxp And when they are in too deep, they start defending things that were insignificant to them personally with all their commitment. If that was wrong what if everything else was too? Woah, scary stuff, let us not go there!
