Two thing I was always refraining from self-hosting: e-mail and matrix. Now I see that Mastodon (or any other ActivityPub software) is a another great candidate for that list 🤣

@m0xee I'm aware that after self-hosting Mastodon and Matrix, I'm dangerously close to moving my email account over, too. Probably a terrible idea.
