This has to be a misunderstanding between cultures. Feminism in the west and what safi is used to in Pakistan are two different worlds. There are no gangs of men raping women here. Nobody is beating women for wearing the wrong clothes or saying the wrong thing, it's the opposite. Women receive more hate and harassment from other women. You say the wrong thing to a woman here and she has the force of society behind her to ruin your life. Let a man blow off some steam, comparing him to the taliban is pure trolling.

This is true! And they often attack wrong men online — the ones who never mistreat women or manipulate them. Just because they are… men 😅
I know what you're talking about, but going to war with this kind of "feminism" is still wrong because once you go down that rabbit hole you start doing exactly what they are doing, you start interacting only with woman like them as if other women who aren't into that do not exist, but they do and there are lots of them.

Proper strategy IMO is to ignore it. Feminism per se isn't the problem, this kind of overcompensation is. It will balance out given time and this kind of harassment will die out if it receives no attention 🤷
