i'm thinking a lot about kai krause's tactile #ui elements today, and how much i miss the playful, poetic smile they brought to creating things in software:

@vga256 I do remember Photo Soap, but I don't think I've used it often. Such an UI, although not my cup of tea, was quite popular at the time, the game The Incredible Machine comes to mind — but probably not the best example. I'm pretty sure that it'll see some kind of revival 😁
