@mjdxp The thing I have on my phone called ArrowOS (probably based on AOSP) has options do disable apps right on the phone, has fine grained control over notifications, can limit app's access to network and much more. Even with all that it sometimes annoys the hell out of me. And then I find some posts online about stock Android and I realize it doesn't even have half of that. How is it even remotely usable?! 😂

@mjdxp And yes, A12 is bad. The pull-down HUD was completely revamped, IMO made worse. You can't have custom accent colours — it only offers you a limited choice of colours based on your wallpaper image, which are almost always bad. Accent Color Creator doesn't work as expected. Some apps no longer have proper access to file system — only to media folders, etc-etc-etc.
And again, I'm comparing to experience I've got with ArrowOS based on Android 12, with stock A it's probably even worse.
