Russia uses this war to justify the economic collapse internally. Any military response from NATO would be beneficial for Kremlin at this point — losing to NATO isn't as bad as losing to Ukraine. It would probably be wise not to give in to this provocation and respond by giving advanced AA, fighter jets and longer range missiles to Ukraine. I hope this is what Poles will go for.
