5. only dock opens up
6. desktop is just gone

emphasis: you can literally login as root through the login screen, not by just "su", i dont believe you can do this on modern macOS now where they cucked the root user

@ne You could enable root user on earlier versions using Netinfo Manager, I'm not sure you can still do that with all the security measures they enforce now. What's funny, there was a bug, in 10.13 I think, that allowed root login without password, an epic fail: howtogeek.com/334611/huge-maco
