Isn't it the only good thing about Twitter — that having an account is not mandatory to browse public posts? 🤔
I hope they keep the API, I also don't have an account, but I read Twitter a lot using Nitter.

It used to be possible to read Twitter directly without an account. Since that stopped I haven't gone there.

If you've left for good, it's your choice of course, but if you want to read it sometimes, try Nitter
It's Twitter how it's supposed to be — without all the bullshit. Very lightweight with minimal JavaScript
Screenshot is my custom CSS on top of base Nitter — hides even more things, it's just posts and full-sized images so I don't have to click it to see the whole thing

@m0xee @fitheach I haven’t left for good yet. I’m waiting to see what everyone else does. Right now, a lot of alternatives are springing up. Jack Dorsey just announced his own platform and an open protocol similar to the fediverse.
