This is the most Bananas speaker I’ve ever disassembled. whole thing weighs about 20kg for a 6” ‘bookshelf’ monitor. Solid die-cast aluminium shell. Huge toroidal transformer. Woofer magnet weighs more than many entire bookshelf speakers.
It’s made by Acoustic Transducer Company, a very niche studio hifi company from Gloucestershire.
