@itzzenxx This is likely in order to prevent or reduce chance of burns. Low temperature burns are a thing with laptops.

And if the air intake is on the bottom of laptop, it'll overheat soon enough and get throttled anyway, what's wrong with preventing that? 🤷

@m0xee @itzzenxx Apparently, Microsoft throttles their Surface tablets (at least, the first generation Surface Pro from 2012/2013) when in tablet mode, to prevent user injuries via burns; from both a safety and legal perspective, it makes sense.
