@iska@mk.starnix.network Aren't filesystems userspace processes in all BSDs?
Systemd was inspired by launchd in Mac OS X I think, it wasn't that bad in the beginning, but became an abomination. I was taking a long break from tech stuff when all of this happened and was reallly shocked to discover most distros adopted it several years later.
