@coolboymew I hate printers so much they're so fucking terrible and awful
@johnnyappleseed @coolboymew @straw tfw the only thing smart I ended up with is my laundry machine and I added a switch on the plug to just turn it off after it's done.
Otherwise it tends to need an hard-reboot when I want to use it, which is just annoying.

@lanodan Don't trust it! It keeps the door locked for several minutes even if you unplug the power cord so it must have some sort of battery 🤔

Oh, lucky you! Mine also does this mechanically, but it's still timer-controlled. I was terrified for the first time when, in a couple of minutes, I heard this "click!" and the cord was already unplugged. Anyway — it's that way most of the time as I need the power socket to charge my electric toothbrush, which is pretty dumb by modern standards — I hope at least that doesn't spy on me 😅
