The potential "customers" will already be so poor by then they can't pay a dime to these corporations. It would be piracy over file-sharing networks all over the place for software and having a decent hardware would be a privilege. In Russia it took about 20 years after the collapse of USSR for people to be able to pay for software, music or movies.
