Any social or technological innovation can be construed as 'useful', if you're either ignorant of the downsides or aren't held to account for them. History is littered with them.

@lightweight Sometimes it isn't even an innovation, just a restriction of choice. Most people using AI search are just using the default search choice, and then we could talk about Windows... Even those technically literate don't often get to choose their tools (at work).
