According to #Techrights, the #Linux kernel is becoming bloated with slopware. Even though I'm not totally convinced that #Rust and #Systemd are totally controlled by #Microsoft, I am convinced that the #LinuxFoundation and the #OSI are controlled by #GAFAM.
I wonder how long before I'm looking to trade in my #Purism #Librem5 for a #BSD based phone?

@sackofbones Vim as well, at least there are two forks without slop.
@lwriemen I know about eVi for vim, but I'm not sure how I would shove a lua engine into it. That's the only thing I need from nvim so I can still use my config
@lwriemen If I could give a sizeable donation to Gentoo for them to maintain a kernel fork, the last untainted commit is known so the forking would be easy, it's d337f45 for anyone thinking about starting one reading this
