@dangillmor parents didn't have TV in the house 1976 - 1985 so I had to read to entertain myself. Best decision ever.

@10_6971 @dangillmor Parents did have TV in the house 1971-1982, and I still brought home a stack of books from the library each week. It's not about TV/video games/social media/whatever cop out a parent/student wants to blame. My oldest son had all of that and still read a lot.
