@pmcneil @libroraptor @glyph Try LyX if you really want to havew WYSIWYM (What You See Is What You Meant). LibreOffice will be more familiar, but LyX will be a step up.

@lwriemen @pmcneil @libroraptor Glad to hear LyX is still going. I have been attempting to use it off and on since 1999 or so. Love the idea, but the execution has … left something to be desired. I don't think I've used it in 5 years though so this will be an interesting opportunity to check in again.

@glyph @pmcneil @libroraptor The interface keeps improving in user friendliness. The render to view the document probably still throws most people coming from other word processors. I was always willing to fight through the learning curve, because I found MS Word so terrible. I had a similar experience with Relish on OS/2.
