I'm posting this from the Tuba client. So far it seems to be quite an improvement compared to Tootle. In particular I like the design decision to move the local/federated timeline buttons into a sidebar and move DMs into their place. Plus this supports following hashtags and background notifications even when the app is closed, which is convenient on mobile hardware.
@kyle I have noticed some performance issues with Tuba, so I find it useful to have both Tootle and Tuba installed.
@lwriemen Interesting. I noticed the scrolling is slower than Tootle, but I assume that was a design decision. What other things should I look out for?
