Can anyone explain to me why ~50% of the time some website sends me an authorization code to sign-in to my account, the email doesn't show up in my inbox until 5-10 minutes after they've apparently been sent. When the email finally does show up, it has a time stamp on it that is 5-10 minutes before I actually received it. WTF is going on here? Is this some issue w/ my email provider, with the website's auto email system, or what? This happens w/ zoom all the time, & it's incredibly frustrating.
@GuerillaOntologist I see this too on a different hosting provider. Mail doesn't even show up on the web mail access for 5-10 minutes. I have antivirus, SpamAssassin, and email filtering enabled at the server. Wondered if any of those are the bottleneck.
