I was never a fan on Windows and Microsoft products, but Microsoft's turn towards Surveillance Capitalism is truly a big blow.
They have access to a LOT of information.

@fatboy You do realize that Microsoft has been putting surveillance backdoors into Windows since at least Windows '98? Windows '98 was sending computer information back to Microsoft, then when it was found out, they moved it to Office, and then there was always the NSA requested backdoors.
