Haven’t used the bread-making machine in a while... decided I’d like to start using it, had some excess* beer and decided to make a beer bread.
Anyway, the house is suddenly filled with the sweet smell of baking bread and I am instantly 75% less anxious than I was a minute ago when I COULDN’T smell it.
* I drink beer so infrequently that we have beer from last July in the pantry
@eatsshootsknits bread machines are amazing! I rarely make bread with mine but it's better than never making homemade bread at all
@louispearson I’ve had several of them over the years but tend to stick with traditional sourdough. I wasn’t super thrilled with the results this time, but I also had to change recipes at the literal last minute because I forgot my machine is a small one and only makes a 1lb loaf. It smelled better than it tasted, but I’ll take it.
