Is this the year that I finally buy a #Fairphone? The new Gen 6 looks really nice.

As an owner of #Fairphone 4 I strongly advise against buying Fairphone for one very fundamental reason: they claim that they will support the phone for 5 years. I've been waiting for Android update since August 2024!! They promised in an email that in September 2024 they will release the Android update for FP4s, and yet... It is effectively a scam to sell subpar hardware without any customer support. Take your money and time and invest in them somewhere better.
@Mehrad if you want more regular updates, maybe try https://doc.e.foundation/devices/FP4 .. I get regular updates on my FP4. And other than a quirk about ghost touches (somewhat mitigated by a firmware update), I really like it.
