Okay bicycle people: I know of Strava and would like to try something like it. But I would prefer something that is open source, community run, and maybe even something I could self-host. Any ideas?
@ojrask strava is a lot of things. It's a personal workout tracker, community leaderboard, social hub for friends and like-minded people, and data collection service. Which aspects are you looking to replicate?
For "social hub" #fediverse should work fine with appropriate hashtag (and maybe specific instance oriented for such, if following that is your thing).
As for "data collection service" - no thanks. Trying to cut that to absolute minimum...
