@resynth1943 @zeh @andreas has anyone been able to effectively run a server? Last I read there were several attempts but no successes.

@keverets @zeh @andreas you can do it, but AFAIK it's really fucking painful.

In theory, you'd have to build the mobile / desktop / iOS apps yourself, replacing the Signal server URL with your own.
