@greenhombre @mogul @tchambers link to your mastodon profile from your website using the rel=“me” attribute, add that url to your profile. Looks like this:
@katherined @greenhombre @tchambers I know about that feature. My worry is that the people in this sheet haven't done that themselves, and any rando can submit the form, pointing to a Mastodon profile that was just set up as an impostor.
@mogul I guess you’d just have to check their profile if you follow, and spread the word about the rel=“me” feature so people know to look for it. The early days of critical mass on a platform have their challenges.

I did these things over the weekend - copied the <rel="me"> code and put it on my blog which is on my pr.... oh. Wait. I put it on the "table."
