@welshpixie Is this on a laptop or PC? I ask because laptops usually automatically disable speakers when the headphone jack is plugged in. This can sometimes be fixed in the BIOS. However if it's a PC then possibly pavucontrol? Otherwise you could script it with pulseaudios CLI https://www.systutorials.com/docs/linux/man/5-pulse-cli-syntax/.
@welshpixie Hmmm, sounds like it's doing some kind of automatic disabling of other outputs, there's probably a way around that in one of the pulse modules. However wireless headphones do make this easier!
@joshfowler Indeed! The noise cancellation only works when they're charged too, and since I use them specifically for audio transcription jobs this is also a useful feature so two reasons for me to keep them charged 😂
