I did not have "tow truck ride" on my US trip bingo card this week. Glad I kept my US number - they weren't able to send SMS updates to an international number.
Rental car broke down?
The few times i've had that happen, a local office brought me another car and they dealt with the tow truck. But if it's not a franchise rental company, they probably can't do that.
@bkuhn Yeah. Slow puncture that got low to the point of being dangerous to drive so I couldn't do the return myself. The tow truck picked up me 'n the car and took me to the rental company to get a replacement, rather than directly bringing me the replacement.
