@johns To be honest, after posting the poll I started thinking that I don't think it'd do what I wanted it to anyway. The root issue is that OTF is a container format, so it's more like a video file extension: all kinds of different stuff could be inside it. Possibly there's no way to succinctly describe all that. So take n8 with a grain of salt.
