First post ever from a Linux phone. @sesivany made me to buy one. One Plus 6 with PostmarketOS runs actually pretty well. I am quite surprised how much is "just working".
For me personally "The year of Linux desktop" has already happened. Now the "Year of Linux Mobile" awaits.
I have to get the arch running. Would love to have the gnome shell experience.
@ondrejkolin #postmarketOS provides an edge image with gnome-shell-mobile.
Keep in mind that gnome on mobile shell is still under heavy development.
@ondrejkolin @joao I'm interested, as a user, how are you actually missing systemd? I have a feeling that for most people it _really_ doesn't matter and it's just their imagination. To an end user it shouldn't matter.
@joao I have seen that one! I will enjoy phosh shortly and then switch to that one. I really skuld like to try out a different distro though, somehow missing the systemd 😁
