My dog is too smart for her own good. She won't even attempt to eat the dog treat favored pills I tried to give her. She just move her head away. I trained her to catch treats in her mouth, so tried throwing a bunch of treats at her, followed by a pills, but she could identify which was treats and which was pills mid air, then only catch the treats and dodge the pills. Then I tried putting the pill inside the treats, but she'd just swallow the treat and spit the pill back out. I had to result to the the last resort where you just shove the pill into their mouth and hold their snoot shut until the pills dissolve or get swallowed 😭
