So apparently @alpinelinux supports Flatpak. 
Now it's legitimately an option for my next distrohop! 
The hard part is figuring out if it's actually a good idea...

@Linux_in_a_Bit Like with everything else in life there are pros and cons.
Personally, I will use a flatpak over an appimage or a snap but I would much rather use a .deb for most things.
Flatpaks are great when you have something that won't install due to dependency issues though.
(On a completely unrelated note, I wish #Purism would hurry up and get moved to Crimson).
