If you truly are concerned with automation killing jobs, stop raising the minimum wage so high that it makes it cheaper for companies to automate.

$7.25 * 40 * 4 = 1160
$15 * 40 * 4 = 2400

Higher minimum wages pressure employers, especially mom and pop shops. UBI benefits everyone.
