My friends have set up a Matrix community for the #YangGang! We're still using Slack for national-level organizing, but are going to experiment with open technologies for our hardcore fans to use. From what I am being told, MATRIX is safer and more convenient than other solutions.

This might shock you, but I used to use IRC back in the day. It's really amazing seeing how far chatroom technology has advanced.
