8am and I'm sitting on my driveway tossing peanuts and blueberries to my befriended wild American crows so yeah I'm definitely that weird old bird lady from Home Alone now
@deweyritten Same here! I've been throwing handfuls of puppy chow to them, as I read it's one of their favorite foods. Sometimes they gobble it up immediately, and other times they store it in their beaks to take back to their nests. It's sweet to sometimes see their silent acknowledgement before they fly off.

If you put out some fresh water too, they'll dunk it to soften the pet food.
But heads up the water gets dirty very fast
@deweyritten That's a great idea! I had to spread the food out last time after a few of them started being territorial, but I should fill a couple water bowls for them to share. It's the least I could do. 😊
@jc lol I had some major bird drama today too!! A pair a Pine Warblers have claimed stake on the slice of bread AND the tiny bin of seeds directly underneath it. And two male... yes both male... cardinals weren't happy about it but were CLEARLY in cahoots with each other. Strange!
So I looked around and found on of the females nearby. And she gave me this look as if to say, "Yeah I know, I know."
