its a serious question; one that has never been answered and i suspect nobody will ever care to answer it. but its still worth asking.
have had a lifelong hatred of the TV (and increasingly, internet) because of its unending capturing of attention which makes it impossible to actually have a normal conversation with a person because everything you do is subordinant to $sport or $multimillion dollar program.

in the past you could kinda get people outside the programming because TVs were only inside houses and bars but now that we have phones, they're stuck to the programming 24/7.
so far i've only really found violence to work
